• A new business park for Southam up to 30,000 sq.m (323,000 sq.ft)
• A range of unit sizes for business, industrial and storage uses
• Buildings situated centrally within the site with enhanced boundary landscaping
• Existing vegetation retained where possible and significant new landscaping and wildlife habitats created to provide an overall net gain in biodiversity
• Highly sustainable and low energy design including PV solar panels, electric vehicle charging points and cycle parking with the proposal meeting BREEAM Very Good standard
• The initial application will be made in outline to establish the principle of development, with detailed design aspects to follow in due course.
Proposed Access
The scheme will be accessed via a new fully signalised T-junction off Leamington Road with a pedestrian crossing facility. Full details of the access arrangements will be included in the initial outline planning application.
Early engagement has been undertaken with Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Southam Town Council to make them aware of the emerging proposals and take on board their views.
